🙌 Hi fellow friends! Let's finish off 2024 with the 11th edition of the ODHack! Your opportunity to explore a number of different projects with issues ready for you. Let's do this!

🔥 Join us for our 10 day open-source week starting the 12th of December to contribute, collaborate and build your profile.

🔥🔥 This time round, we are including issues that are not rewarded. Why? To help newcomers get a chance to build their profiles which can then lead to more rewarding issues or working for the project itself!

👀 Please read the following steps very carefully to have a great ODHack:

Step 1️⃣ : Register to participate

If you haven't already done so, make sure to sign up and register to participate. You won't be able to receive rewards or apply to open issues if you don't go through this step.

Step 2️⃣ : Join the Telegram group:

Stay connected and up to date by joining our Telegram group! Each project will also have their means of contact, which will be communicated in the Telegram group. Guidelines on how the ODHack works will be communicated regularly in the group.

Step 3️⃣ : Read the Guidelines on how the ODHacks work

Be fair and respectful please! Here are the guidelines that would be great for you to read.

Step 3️⃣ : Browse through the projects participating

Check out the projects participating in this edition to become familiar with it and when the D-day (December 12th) is here, you can begin.

A blog post will come out shortly with more details.

WARNING It is unnecessary to ask to be assigned to an issue before the Hack starts. I can ban you 👀 .

Step 4️⃣ : Join the community call!

We will be shortly communicating our community call!

Step 5️⃣ : When the ODHack starts, GO!

When the ODHack begins, you will see all available open issues on this page.

Select issues that match your skills to get a better chance of being assigned and apply directly via the ODHack page. Make sure you give a bit of details regarding your background and how you would approach the issue.

❗Note that it is important to avoid CHAT GPT answers when you apply. It isn't helpful and doesn't make you look good. So do avoid it.

💛 And lastly, enjoy! If your contribution is eligible, you’ll get rewarded via OnlyDust if the issue has a reward.
